This place is mind-blowingly quirky, compact yet fully equipped with everything you need. The funky deco and delightful maps make it super cool. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee or evening wine, and it's within walking distance to the wine tram and restaurants. The hosts are extremely helpful and they provide unexpected but pleasant surprises like rusks, orange juice for mimosas, and champagne glasses. It truly feels like a jaw-dropping home away from home. Free wi-fi, electric kettle, cookware, flat-screen TV, and outdoor dining area are all available.

I loved the funky deco at The M A P Room! It was such a pleasure to just sit and look at everything around me. The hotel had a great atmosphere and it made me feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine was also a big plus. It made it so easy to do my laundry and cook my meals when I wanted to. The balcony was a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The best part was that the hotel was within walking distance to the wine tram and various restaurants. It made exploring the area so convenient for me as a senior woman.
The only improvement I could suggest for a better vacation for senior people is the accessibility of the hotel. The main bedroom had a 4 inch lip at the entrance to the ensuite bathroom, which could be difficult for those with mobility issues.

We had such a great value for our money at this unique and compact house just off the center. The room had everything we needed and the quirky decor added a delightful touch. We were treated so well by the staff, Julia and her son were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. The location was ideal, within walking distance to the wine tram and various restaurants. The outside seating area with a brilliant braai was a highlight for us, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the balcony. it felt like a home away from home.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better is if there were more options to choose from.
